Calling All Adults!!!

The new BSA policy as of 2010 regarding Adults on campouts is as follows; All Adults must have registered and satisfactorily completed the on line Youth Protection Training before they are able to attend camping and scouting events. You can complete this training by going to the links section of this web site and clicking on the "Youth Protection" link listed under the heading of "Training". Once you have compelted the course you will be able to print out a voucher certificate which you must then present a copy of to the ScoutMaster. SPECIAL NOTE: ADULT LEADERS MUST HAVE RENEWED THIS COURSE TO RE-CHARTER!

TROOP 141 CAMPOUT POLICY
Our policy on camp out policy has been and continues to be as follows. If a Scout and or Adult Leader plans to attend any camp out event, they must submit payment covering the cost of the event two weeks in advance of the event. This policy will be strictly adhered to as we as a Troop have to advance these camp fees which are not refundable.

Are you interested in Scouts? If you said yes ( even if you are not sure) then come attend a Troop 141 meeting. We do lots of interesting things like learn how to make fires, whittle with pocket knives, go camping and learn saftey and leadership skills. Our leadership encourages each Scout to reach the ultimate Scouting goal of Eagle Rank and guides each of them along this path. We meet at the Belvidere Scout Home located at 207 Race Street Belvidere, New Jersey every Thursday night at 7:30pm. We are one of the few lucky Troops that really has a home, The Belvidere Scout Home! The Scout home is goverened by the Home Association and was dedicated to Scouting in the late 1940's. Troop 141 was chartered in 1912 and has been a Belvidere tradition ever since.
